HALL OF ALLTIMERS ARTIST
Against the Element's journey began in 2010 when Chris Willis (lead guitarist/backing vocals) and Travis Williams (lead singer/rhythm guitarist) paths met in the town of Lakeland Florida. After writing together and with various musicians over the next 8 years, they gained perspective on what the band could be, but just needed to solidify a bass guitarist and a drummer. It wasn’t until 2017 that they started to feel like the waiting was finally over, alas two well-qualified musicians with very like-minded personalities came out of nowhere it seemed. With Alec Wixson on drums and Jason Broderick on bass, Against the Element began taking their progressive rock sound to the Tampa, Lakeland and Winter Haven music scenes. These four individuals put their lives into music, and are more than ready to share it with the world.
